Context

Consilience Ventures is a mutualist startup accelerator: a network where investors, experts and startups exchange capital and services through a tokenized digital equity model. That model needs a platform its members can trust – and a network of experts to feed it.

What I did

Head of Architecture (2018 – 2019) – architect and developer of the accelerator platform:

  • Elixir back end with an Ethereum smart-contract layer for the token model.
  • GraphQL API with a React front end.
  • Set up and operated the Docker Swarm infrastructure, provisioned with Ansible.

Distributed systems expert (2019 – 2023) – as an expert in the network, contributed to its development: onboarding other experts, taking part in the startup screening process, and advising portfolio companies on distributed systems and technical strategy.

Outcome

A running platform for the network’s members, and five years of involvement in the community built around it.
